We are a not-for-profit organisation established to help individuals and organisations support grass-root causes and initiatives to improve the prosperity of Narrandera Shire.
We provide the opportunity to establish a legacy in the name of your family or a loved one, or provide your skills and expertise free-of-charge to the place that you or your family call home.
Our Mission
Our mission is to use donations and charitable services to meet current and future needs of the Narrandera Shire. We seek to build a permanent pool of funds and pro-bono service providers to support the Narrandera community.
We are independent from control or influence by other organisations or government; governed by a board of citizens; can make grants to other not-for-profit and community groups to address disadvantage and emerging needs in the Shire; and donate services to help people advance the overall well-being of Narrandera Shire residents.
We don’t replace the professional services required to manage an initiative but can help with the range of issues and organisations associated with establishing and running them.
What We've Achieved
Since our incorporation on 4 April 2019, we have.
Donated services to assist others lodge applications for State Government grants totalling more than $4m.
Directly sponsored a tri-partied project to develop the North bank of the main irrigation canal.
Promoted the Shire through engagement with private, commercial and Government entities.
Championed the development and upgrading of community assets such as Narrandera’s parks and gardens.
Negotiated with state and federal interests to assist organisations struggling to deliver services to the community.
